Progressive Folk & Bluegrass
As summer's warm nights drift slowly away, a few ambitious leaves begin to cover the earth. We pause for a moment from our busy schedule to appreciate the changing seasons and to reflect on a summer of unforgettable moments. Our incredible experience at Merlefest and our opportunities performing with musical heroes Hot Rize and the Wood Brothers remind us of the beauty of music to inspire and uplift. Our journey across the midwest and out to Colorado shows us the power of nature to excite the spirit and embolden the mind. Our trip to the Northeast showed us the influence of friends and family and the importance of love and support to encourage the creative faculties.
All in all we are feeling ever so grateful and motivated to continue doing what we love!
Speaking of doing what we love, we have some great opportunities ahead of us and would like to share them with you. In addition to some performances throughout our home state of North Carolina, we will be attending the IBMA's at the end of September/beginning of October. We also have some very exciting news. This winter, Fireside Collective will be heading into the studio to work on our 2nd album!!!! We have a bunch of new material and we couldn't be more excited to lay down some tracks and share them with you all. It will be our first recording since our 2014 release of "Shadows and Dreams" and will feature more original music from various members of the band.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone for a wonderful summer! The amount of support and encouragement that we received from our friends and family means the world to us. We also got to meet so many wonderful new people who remind us of the power of music to unite and encourage.
With the gentle autumn breeze carefully guiding the falling leaves, we look forward to spending the fall performing throughout North Carolina and working on our new album.
With deepest love and appreciation,
Ahhh, to be back home in the Blue Ridge Mountains! To hear the songbirds sing their sweet mountain melody, to see the tree covered hills dancing in a blue haze, to relax in our peaceful Asheville home... if only for a day. We find ourselves looking back with so many fond memories from our trip out to Colorado. Kicking it off in Nashville TN, seeing all the good folks on the Missouri River at Cooper's Landing, stomping our feet and partying all night in Kansas City at the Westport Saloon, meeting a bunch of awesome new friends in Wichita KS, and of course... Colorado!! What a wonderful state full of exciting towns, supportive people, and beautiful Rocky Mountains!
We are so thankful to be travelling throughout this beautiful country, doing what we love, and meeting so many wonderful folks. Thank you soooooo much to all of our friends in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Tennessee for all your support. Thank you to everyone who tooks us in and gave us a place to rest. It's amazing how often we feel at home, we couldn't do it without y'all!!

We couldn't be more thrilled to be heading to the area of the country that gave us 3 members of the Fireside Collective! Jesse, Tommy, and Joe were all born in this part of the country and we are excited to share our style of Bluegrass music with the many family and friends we have in the Northeast! The first leg of the tour finds us in North Central Pennsylvania and Central New York, where Jesse spent the first 19 years of his life. We will even be performing an extra special Gospel set at the church Jesse grew up attending! After that, we head to Philadelphia where we are excited to perform at the infamous World Cafe Live!! Next, we venture up to North Jersey, not far from where Tommy made his life debut. We will be closing out the tour in Joe's hometown of Elizabethtown, PA, a night which will most certainly be one for the books!!!
Life is beautiful, the world is a magnificent place, and people working together for a cause greater than themselves is one of the most wonderful aspects of humanity. We are grateful for our time together and our chance to continue playing music for so many awesome people all over this great country.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We hope to see you on the road sometime soon!
