We are so excited to release our new single, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," with music by Sir Elton John and lyrics by Bernie Taupin. This will be the first cover the band has recorded in the studio and we couldn't be happier to share it with the world. A year after the global shutdown of 2020, the band decided to head to a cabin in the hills of Carolina. During these sessions, a handful of new tunes were written and arranged. In addition, we began working on a new cover that was a little outside of the box for the band. Jesse had been playing the song for his daughter and decided it might be worth bringing to the band. When the band played through "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" it was unanimously decided that it would be perfect for the Fireside repertoire. The song will be available and streaming everywhere on March 10th, 2022. Be sure to call up your favorite radio station and ask them to play the single or just put it on repeat on your streaming platform of choice. Thanks for all of the support throughout the years, we hope you enjoy our cover of this incredible song! ![]() 2022 was a year of adventure and exploration. We traveled to more new cities than ever before and played in some incredible venues. We went from Key West to Vermont, from New Orleans up to Minnesota and out west to the Coast of California. We had some stuff stolen from us in the streets of San Francisco but we found our souls deep in the Redwood Forest. Every step of the way, we were comforted and supported by the vast network of fans that keep us going. From the smiling faces in the crowd to the kind words of support and words of encouragement. We see you, we appreciate you and we couldn't do it without you.
Here's to our amazing fans and the network of people who give us the love we need to carry on! Stay tuned for some exciting news and a whole bunch of tour dates. Stay warm out there folks and we'll see ya' down the road! As the leaves began to fall and the busy season came to an end, the band decided it was high time for a retreat in the woods. We found ourselves an old Farmhouse in Marshall, North Carolina and spent a few days writing, jamming and connecting with the mountains. The foundation for Fireside's next studio album was formed and the gates for exploration were flung wide open! We also took some time to celebrate a year full of new places, familiar faces and unforgettable shows. In addition, we wanted to honor our family and crew members who are integral to the Fireside family and keep the fire burning. It was a blast! Needless to say, we are excited to get back on the road and share this new music with everyone. We have an exciting schedule to finish out the year including a tour with our friends from Armchair Boogie and a show on December 30th with the Infamous Stringdusters.
