Greetings Fireside friends and family,We hope you're all enjoying some hot chocolate by the fire or wrapping that gift you can't wait to give to your favorite uncle. Or maybe you're about to start some high stress, last minute holiday shopping, if that's the case, stay safe and don't forget that bottle of Makers, 'tis the season!
It's also the season for giving, and we would love to take this chance to give thanks to everyone who supported us in any way during our first year of making music together. Thank you to everyone who gave our CD "Shadows and Dreams" a listen or came out to see one of our live performances. Thanks to all the kind folks who opened their homes to us and gave us a comfy couch or floor to sleep on, we're looking forward to coming back and throwing a monkey wrench into your regular daily routines! Thank you to all of the venues and venue owners who allowed us to come share our music and continue to do what we love doing. Many thanks to all of the musicians who we've shared the stage with and got to play music with, and to all the local musicians in Asheville who continue to inspire us to play that good old mountain music. And thanks to you, yes you, for staying in touch and showing support as we continue on this exciting journey! AND NOW... We would love to share some exciting news with you. We have many big plans for this upcoming year including a trip out to Colorado to compete in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival band competition!!!! We will be building a tour out to Colorado, staying in CO for a week or two, and then heading back to the Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition to this tour, we will also be touring across Tennessee in March, playing shows in Knoxville, Maryville, Gatlinburg, and Nashville, before heading back to NC for a big St. Patty's day show in Boone, NC. It's gonna be a big, exciting year for us so stay in touch and let us know if there's somewhere you'd like to see the Fireside Collective! Thanks again friends, we are so grateful for all the support and are so excited to share some new music with you in 2015, including a whole bunch of new originals, and some fun covers by the Beatles, the Who, the Eagles, Paul Simon, and many more of our favorite artists! On behalf of Tommy, Carson, Josh, and myself, have a happy and safe holiday season and we can't wait to see you next year! -Jesse |
