Much like any good musical composition needs measures and beats of rest, so too does any good band. After 10 days on the road, preceded by 3 days of moving, preceded by 3 days on the road, we are happy to be back in Asheville settling into our new home. We are now anxiously awaiting our performance this Friday at Riverlink's last concert of the season where we'll be performing with Portland based Fruition as well as regional artists Amythyst Kiah and Stevie Lee Combs!!! Our second tour of the Carolinas brought so many great memories and introduced us to some amazing new folks! We're fortunate to have so many supportive friends, family, and fans that came out to support us and we can't wait to get back on the road,... after a little rest. It was great to be back in Greenville, NC where we all met and to see the Pirates win their first home game of the season... go Pirates! After that, we got to spend another 5 days on the Outer Banks with some of the greatest fans in the world! Everyone in Corolla came out to see us for our first 2 shows and showed an immense amount of support, one reason we will never stop going back here. After the Outer Banks, we drove across North Carolina to Winston-Salem where we played at the Foothills Brewery. It happened to be the day they released one of their most popular beers, the Sexual Chocolate, and the crowd was great! After playing the last show of our tour, we hopped in the van for another few hours and headed back to Asheville.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see us and to all the new friends we made. Special thanks to everyone who let us crash at their place while we were on the road. We can't wait to see you all again soon!!!!!

![]() Thursday night we rolled into Raleigh to play our second show at Sola Coffee Cafe. It was great to see so many friends and family come out to support us in the capital city. The next day we drove down to Pinehurst, NC for the annual Pinehurst Food & Wine Festival. Wow! This place was fancy. Instead of sleeping on the couch we had our own hotel rooms. After Tommy crushed a whole jar of $14 M&M's we headed down to the Carolina Ballroom to soundcheck. We played for the dessert and moonshine portion of the festival and got to sample tons of great food and wine.
The next day we spent a little time enjoying the resort before heading to Greenville, NC. Turns out the Pirates were playing a game that night and after they won, we jammed out to some pumped up college kids at Peasants Pub. The gig had some added nostalgia since Jesse, Tommy, and Carson all spent many years in this town, playing some of the very songs we still play to this day. Now we're on the Outer Banks for 5 days playing at Mike Dianna's Grill Room in Corolla tonight, Monday Sept. 1st. On Wednesday, we'll be playing the end of summer concert at the Beer Garden. Last time, we had a blast playing this venue and look forward to being back! On Thursday we play a new venue for us, the Roadside Cafe in Duck, followed by a show at Trio in Kitty Hawk on Friday. On Saturday we'll be making a long drive out to Winston-Salem to play Foothills Brewery before heading back home to Asheville! Back in Asheville, we'll be off for 5 days before heading down to the River Arts District to play Riverlink's final concert of their summer concert with Portland based band, Fruition. Check out our tour schedule for more details and we'll see ya' soon! |
