As I sit here on the front porch, gazing westward at the Blue Ridge Mountains, I can't help but think of the 1,465 miles we will be traveling in the next week on our way out to Colorado. One week ago, we sat on the Outer Banks, gazing out on the Atlantic Ocean, in the company of some of our closest and most supportive friends. Now, many miles stand before us, many new faces wait to greet us, and these old Blue Mountains will soon be replaced with young Rocky Ridges.
But before we go, I want to give a huge shout out to our Dobro player Tommy Maher. Without his hard work and dedication, this tour would not be possible. Tommy spent many months routing the tour, booking shows, and mailing flyers, and for that we thank him!!!
To all our friends on the East Coast, we'll see you in a month, and to everyone in Colorado and along the way, we'll see you real soon!!!
